This EXCLUSIVE club is limited to a maximum of just 40 Members during 2010. To qualify for entry each Member will have completed a minimum of 4 hours training with CAT i.e. Track Day Novice or above. As places are limited, join early to get the most benefit from this exclusive club created just for you.

Are you looking to experience and enjoy track day driving on a known fixed budget combined with the best instruction available? Then membership of The Perfect Lap Club is for you.

If you are new to track driving there are many companies offering vehicle hire for track days with token or full instruction as an option. You may also have used or be thinking about taking your own car onto track – this is probably your pride and joy on the road. You may be worried, and quite rightly so, about stone chips, brake wear, tyre wear and servicing costs. A new set of tyres on a Porsche for instance can be in the region of £1000. If you’re pushing hard this cost alone could be incurred over a couple of track days. When hiring a car, how do you know that it has the best tyres and has been fully maintained to allow you to get the maximum from your track experience?

With CAT you will have already experienced our service and know that only the best is good enough for our clients. This same ethos applies to our clients when heading to track in a CAT vehicle. We are not trying to be a track car hire company. The Perfect Lap Club has been created with the knowledge that once on circuit you will have developed your knowledge and technique with CAT to such an extent that you will be driving the car to its limit of adhesion. The emphasis is on your training, developing you to your full potential, ensuring you get the maximum from your experience.

100 miles on a track is equivalent to 1000 miles on the road. The CAT vehicles are maintained accordingly. Toyo 888’s and appropriate wet weather tyres if there is standing water on circuit, are used on the Lotus Elise and Avons or Toyos on the Caterham.

Joining The Perfect Lap Club allows you to dip your toes into the world of circuit track day driving without a large or unknown capital investment whilst receiving expert instruction.

What Does Membership Give Me?

Membership of The Perfect Lap Club gives you access to preferential rates to use our Caterham 7 Current Road Sports A Race Car &/or Lotus Elise for your track day(s) with an inclusive reduced price for instruction or engineering support.

Your arrive-drive package provides you with everything you need on the day. We will take care of vehicle transportation to and from events, insurance (subject to excess), vehicle preparation and support plus fuel, and be with you on the day to ensure that you have the highest possible level of support, including either instruction or a professional engineer, allowing you to focus solely on getting the most from your track day.

Using our Caterham 7 or Lotus Elise enables you to enjoy the excitement of the challenge of a track day without having to worry about wear and tear implications to your own vehicle. Tyres, brake wear, insurance and other extras all contribute to the cost of enjoying a track day. Driving our Caterham 7 or Lotus Elise allows you to plan your track day calendar for 2010 and concentrate on the drives to come!

TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Bookings will be on a 1-2-1 or 2-2-1 basis per vehicle.
2. Surcharges apply of: £100 per gravel trap incident; £2,500 insurance excess with £1000/£1500 payable upfront per driver, to be returned upon conclusion of track day subject to any merchant fees; Damage to engine due to excessive revs - £1000.
3. If vehicle shared on a 2-2-1 basis, each driver must be a member. The track day fee will be halved to give the fee payable per person with a supplement of £30.
4. Vehicles may only be shared on a track day running an Open Pit Lane format.
